Nancy Made this!

Ok since I have a few Mother's day cards to make Nancy Helped me out. I have to post this wonderful card she made. Hope you like it.

I had help....

Ok so every month I hang out with two AWESOME women...Nancy and Liz.

They are really sweet Stampers that have taught me a lot and it's a great way to get out of the house and just make cards. We don't have anything set that we all do as a group unless there is something I want to learn that they can teach me. Its great! This last time I had a b-day card I needed to make and I was still working on my Prince card so Liz whip one up for me and it so cute. Nancy did the background paper and Liz stamped the card. I think it's cute!

Mother's day card

Ok I finally got my mother's day card done...yeah! I don't really have stamps that I like for this day so I used some punch outs I had and it actually looks nice. It's simple and really sweet. And since I have t make more than 1 Mother's day card it helps that it was easy...Hope you like it.

My Frog Prince.....LOL

I created this card for the April Sketch challenge at Rubber Stamp Chat. I've never entered one of their Challenges and I thought what the heck let's give it a roll. That and the fact that this year I seem to be trying all kind of new things.

So here's my Froggy Prince........

.........................Isn't he soooooo cute!!!!!!!

I actually got this stamps from a Grab Bag that I bought from Viva Las Vegastamps. Yes I know, BJ and her Grab bags.....there is no doctors currently treating anyone for my addiction...so there!

Now I just have to figure out who to send this out to.

I did it.....and it wasn't bad!

I said I would figure out those easel cards and what better day then today....

So I went over to Splitcoast and checked out their tutorial by Beate Johns http://www.splitcoaststampers.com/resources/tutorials/easelcard/

Even though my card isn't as fancy as most I think my Mema is going to love it for her B-day.

I used a cream colored card stock for the base of the card, then a piece of "open daisy" by Paper Adventures (I've had this paper for over a year plus so it was good to use it finally), followed up by 3 white flower eyelets, 2 flowers , and 1 rivet (in the center of the flowers). I embossed the letters MEMA to give it a more "I love you more than Hallmark" feel, and of course I put a little "I love you mema" note inside.
Over all I really like these cards they weren't as bad as I thought they were going to be, maybe just the fact that I'm sooooo new I just scared myself silly. I really have to stop doing that.
